Back in 1978 I was introduced to the wonderful world of hand engraving. I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to learn the art, and I haven’t looked back since. From 1978 until 1986 I worked in California for two of the best makers of western silver and trophy buckles as an engraver in the western style of bright cut engraving. In 1987 I had the opportunity to move to the great state of Montana. I am still in Montana and love it up here. After moving to Montana I decided to expand my engraving skills to include relief engraving, gold inlay and lettering. I specialize in ornamental scroll work and enjoy engraving on just about any type of project. The majority of my engraving is on fine custom jewelry and high end custom knives. Although I do engrave firearms, and parts for custom street rods and motorcycles from time to time. Darren
